Karachi (Big Digit)(Report: Pirbux Noonari)Karachi Following the Council of Common Interests (CCI) decision to cancel the controversial canal projects, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah received a rousing welcome at the Karachi airport. PPP leader and MPA Dr. Suhrab Sarki greeted the CM with a traditional Ajrak and extended his congratulations.

On the occasion, Dr. Sarki hailed the CCI decision as “historic,” calling it a significant achievement not only for Sindh but for the entire Pakistani nation. He praised the Sindh government for maintaining a clear and consistent stance on the issue, which ultimately led to success.

Dr. Sarki also lauded PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s pivotal role, noting that it was through his meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif that the issue was resolved on a priority basis. He expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and the federal government for recognizing and respecting the sentiments of Sindh’s people.
