Islamabad (Big Digit) ‘Our Hearts Beat Pakistani’ — Former Attock Nazim’s Independence Day message
Major (retd) Tahir Sadiq says Pakistan’s freedom is a divine gift and the result of immense sacrifices, urging unity and youth-led progress.
Former District Nazim of Attock, Major (retd) Tahir Sadiq, has marked Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day by calling the country’s independence “a sacred trust” that must be safeguarded for future generations.
He described Pakistan as “a divine blessing” born of the “unwavering struggle” of the nation’s forefathers. “This land was won at the cost of countless lives, displacement and hardship, yet the dream of freedom never dimmed,” he said.
The former nazim said the celebrations send a message to the world that Pakistan is more than a geographical entity — it is “the embodiment of an indomitable will and a timeless ideology”.
“Pakistan exists, therefore we exist — for our hearts beat Pakistani,” he remarked, calling on young people to equip themselves with education, integrity and hard work to lead the nation to “new heights of progress and prosperity”.
He also reaffirmed his resolve to counter “every hostile design” with unity and patriotism
