Islamabad (Big Digit) An important meeting was chaired by Malik Alam Sher, in -charge of the Special Branch, to ensure law and order, religious harmony and exemplary arrangements during the holy day of Muharram al -Haram in Khanewal district. The meeting was attended by licenses from across the district, representatives of various schools, district police, local government, health, rescue and other concerned departments.
During the meeting, a detailed review of the processions and meetings held in Muharram al -Haram was reviewed. Licensers informed about the problems, suggestions and ground facts of their respective areas. The meeting considered important issues such as security, cleaning, lighting, traffic plan, water supply, and medical facilities.
On this occasion, Malik Knowledge Sher assured all the participants that all law enforcement agencies, including the Special Branch, would ensure all possible security measures during Muharram al -Haram. He said:
> “Muharram al -Haram is a month of unity, patience, sacrifice and tolerance. We all have to maintain its sanctity. Peace, brotherhood and rule of law will be ensured at all costs throughout the district.”
It was decided in the meeting that all the processions would be taken on their traditional and licensed routes, sensitive places would be monitored through CCTV cameras, while additional security personnel would be deployed.
The district administration, the police, the municipalities and the health department will work in full harmony so that any emergency can be dealt with immediately.
The participants of the meeting were attended by Mir Babar Ali Syed Saqib Naqvi Qari Saifullah Abid Pir Abrar Shah and Pirwal’s license Syed Mujtaba Hussain Shah.
