According to the ISPR, the oil tanker MT High Leader of Libraria had requested medical assistance for its injured Indian crew, the Joint Maritime Information and Coordination Senior (JMICC) of the Pakistan Navy started the rescue operation with utmost speed as soon as it heard the emergency call.
According to the ISPR, the injured crew member was shifted to a local hospital in Karachi for emergency medical assistance through the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency.
According to the ISPR, the timely and successful rescue operation of the Indian crew is a manifestation of the Pakistan Navy’s determination to fulfill its international responsibilities beyond its nationality. This move is a practical proof of the exemplary role of the Pakistan Navy in protecting human lives at sea.
