Islamabad (Big Digit): A special ceremony was organized at the secretariat of Dr. Shahid Rasheed Butt, former President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce, and Omar Shahid Butt, President Pakistan Business Network, to pay rich tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for their historic victory in the recent battle for justice.
The event was attended by a large number of notable business figures and dignitaries who expressed deep admiration for the sacrifices and valor of the Pakistani forces. Participants also paid homage to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country. A specially prepared cake was cut to mark the occasion.
Distinguished attendees included President of Jinnah Super Market Asad Aziz, President of Super Market F-6 Shehzad Abbasi, former Federal Minister Dr. G.G. Jamal, President of National Press Club Azhar Jatoi, Justice (R) Mudassir Khalid Abbasi, senior journalists Malik Manzoor Ahmed, Malik Nadeem, Akhtar Jameel Abbasi, Khurshid Qureshi, Hamza Rehman, former ICCI President Basir Dawood, Salman Dar, Usman Khan bin Rashid, Hasbi Ahmed, and Parvez Abbasi.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Shahid Rashid Butt, Umar Shahid Butt, Dr. G.G. Jamal, Jameel Abbasi, Mudassir Khalid Abbasi, and other speakers praised the courage and professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces. They said that under the effective leadership and strategic vision of Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, the Pakistani forces have rendered the country’s defense invincible.
The speakers noted that Pakistan has emerged as a major defense power in the region, having successfully thwarted Indian aggression. They stated that the historic triumph has enhanced Pakistan’s standing on the global stage. Pakistan’s air force destroyed enemy targets within hours, demonstrating superior capability. They also emphasized that any future aggression would be met with a firm and decisive response.
Furthermore, the civil and military leadership was commended for exhibiting maturity and patience during the conflict. The participants stressed the importance of national unity and highlighted Pakistan’s diplomatic successes in the international arena.
