RAWALPINDI (Big Digit); Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that no conspiracy of the enemy can shake the resolve of the armed forces of Pakistan while the bravery and sacrifice of our citizens and soldiers are the foundation of Pakistan’s security.
Meanwhile, on the grand success of Operation Banyan Marsus, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has announced May 10 as the Day of Battle and a Martyrs Package every year.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Army Chief General Asim Munir visited CMH Rawalpindi, where he visited the injured personnel and civilians and inquired about their well-being.
The Pakistan Army Chief met each injured personnel individually, appreciating their exceptional bravery and sense of duty. The Army Chief reiterated the commitment of the armed forces to provide constant care, rehabilitation and welfare to the injured.
On this occasion, General Asim Munir said that the bravery and sacrifice of our citizens and soldiers are the foundation of Pakistan’s security, the entire nation expresses its resolute solidarity with every member of its armed forces.
He said that a united and determined response was witnessed during the Battle of Haq/Operation Banyan Marsus, which, with the steadfastness and support of the people, has become a decisive chapter in the country’s military history. Army Chief General Asim Munir further said that no aggression by the enemy can shake the resolve of the Pakistani armed forces. It should be noted that Pakistan had launched ‘Operation Banyan Marsus’ on May 10 in response to Indian aggression.
On the brilliant success of Operation Banyan Marsus, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced the celebration of Battle of Haq Day and a martyrs package on May 10 every year.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said in a statement that Battle of Haq Day should be celebrated with enthusiasm throughout the country every year. He said that our forces have made us proud, and on Friday, special prayers will be offered in continuation of the Thanksgiving Day.
Shahbaz Sharif announced a martyrs package for those martyred during the war of truth. According to the statement, the heirs of the martyrs of the Pak Army will be given an amount of Rs 10 million to Rs 18 million depending on the rank,
Similarly, the heirs of the martyrs of the Pak Army will be given Rs 19 million to Rs 42 million depending on the rank for home facilities.
Similarly, the full salary of the martyrs of the Pak Army will continue with allowances until the date of retirement, and the children of the martyrs of the Pak Army will be given free education until graduation.
According to the package, a marriage grant of Rs 1 million will be given for the marriage of one daughter of every martyr of the Pak Army.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the federal government will rebuild the houses and mosques affected by the Indian attack. It is the government’s responsibility to support the children of the martyrs. We will fulfill this duty. The Prime Minister said that the federal government will bear all the expenses of the treatment of the injured.
