On 22nd May 2025, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Business Symposium was held in Beijing, jointly organized by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and the Chamber of Commerce for High Technology and Equipment Industry. The event was graciously hosted by Mr. Zhang Hongchao, Deputy Secretary General of ACFIC.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Director (Eurasian Region) of Precise Development (HK) Limited, China graced the event as the Chief Guest, providing valuable insights and positioning himself as a key advocate for collaboration between China and Pakistan in the context of CPEC. His participation underscored the importance of private sector engagement in driving the success of the CPEC initiative, highlighting that sustainable economic growth relies heavily on the active involvement of businesses in both countries.
During the symposium, representatives from various Chinese entities, including Guangdong Zhongshen Industrial Development Co. Ltd, Jiangsu Cimer Information Security Technology Shares, Wuhan Tianmou Photoelectric Technology, and Changsha Jingjia Microelectronics, lauded Pakistan for its response to Indian aggression. ACFIC expressed the Chinese business community’s pride in Pakistan and its robust armed forces. They discussed China’s commitment to providing Pakistan with state-of-the-art JF-20 aircraft, with ongoing efforts to finalize the JF-35 aircraft, making Pakistan a primary recipient.
In a gesture of camaraderie, all Chinese participants presented models of JF-10 and JF-20 aircraft to Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, emphasizing the pride of the Chinese aviation industry in Pakistan’s armed forces.
