On January 3, 2025 Islamabad Governor of Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, attended the
funeral of Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari’s wife in her native village of Malpur and expressed his
heartfelt condolences over her demise. Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, a senior leader of the
Pakistan Peoples Party (Parliamentarians) and former Chairman of the Senate, has faced an
irreparable loss, and the Governor extended his deepest sympathies during this difficult time.
In his condolence message, Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan prayed for the departed soul’s
eternal peace and elevated status in the hereafter. He also prayed for the grieving family, asking
Allah Almighty to grant them the strength and patience to bear this tremendous loss.
Governor Saleem Haider Khan described the late wife of Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari as a
