Karachi (Big Digit) NICVD Karachi Employees’ Dream of Health Insurance Policy Remains Unfulfilled Due to Executive Director’s Incompetence

Karachi (Big Digit)(Report: Pirbux Noonari)Karachi The longstanding demand of employees at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) Karachi for a health insurance policy has once again been left unmet, allegedly due to the incompetence of Executive Director Dr. Tahir Sagheer.
According to details, the draft of the health insurance policy was presented for approval during the Board of Governors’ meeting. However, Dr. Sagheer failed to adequately defend the policy or provide satisfactory answers to queries raised during the session, resulting in the board withholding approval.
Sources say NICVD employees have been striving for years to obtain health insurance benefits similar to those granted to employees of other departments under the Sindh government.
The failure to secure approval has caused widespread disappointment and unrest among the staff.
Employees have now appealed to higher authorities to take notice of Dr. Tahir Sagheer’s incompetence and initiate action to safeguard the rights of the institution’s workforce.
