ISLAMABAD (Big Digit) Pakistan has urged the international community to implement concrete and effective measures to combat the growing wave of Islamophobia. According to the report, a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry spokesperson on the occasion of the International Day to Combat Islamophobia said that Islamophobic rhetoric, hate speeches and attacks on Muslim communities, mosques and holy sites are serious violations of the principles of fundamental human rights and religious freedom.
The spokesperson said that as a leading voice in the global fight against Islamophobia, Pakistan looks forward to continuing to work with the international community to promote tolerance, harmony and mutual respect among all religions and cultures.
