KARACHI (Big Digit) KarachiTargeted combing and search operations are being carried out on a daily basis in various areas of Karachi District West to ensure law and order and public safety. On the directives of SSP West, police under the leadership of SHO Pirabad, Anees Sheikh, conducted a large-scale combing operation in Kunwari Colony and adjoining areas.
According to police sources, the operation is based on intelligence information and aims to secure a major public gathering in Karachi, ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property, and take strict action against criminals and drug dealers.
Before the operation, all entry and exit points of the area were sealed, followed by door-to-door searches. Biometric verification devices are also being used to verify the identity of suspicious individuals to detect any wanted persons.
The operation is being supervised by SDPO Manghopir, with the participation of police personnel, female staff, and intelligence officials. Police officials stated that the objective of these operations is to maintain peace in the area, ensure public safety, and arrest criminal elements involved in unlawful activities.
