ISLAMABAD (Big Digit): (PR: Dated November 19, 2025): In line with the direction of Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, action against unauthorized constructions and violators of building bylaws in Islamabad has been further intensified. In this regard, the Building Control Section, with the support of the Enforcement Wing, the district administration, and Islamabad Police, conducted operations in various areas of the city on Wednesday. Sealing 28 buildings for violations of the CDA Ordinance 1960 and Building Control Regulations 2020, and also issuing notices to the owners violating the said regulations.
According to details, on Wednesday, the Building Control Section, in collaboration with the Enforcement staff, sealed 8 buildings on Kuri Road in Zone-IV of Islamabad for non-conforming use. Similarly, 20 buildings in Zone-IV, which were being used in violation of the Building Control Regulations 2020, were also sealed. In total, 28 buildings were sealed and notices were issued to the owners.
On the instructions of Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the enforcement of building bylaws across the entire city is being ensured. It is important to note that operations against building bylaw violations will continue consistently.
On this occasion, CDA administration said that actions against illegal constructions in the Capital City, Islamabad, will continue consistently in the coming days. In this regard, citizens are also urged to cooperate and ensure they obtain the necessary permission from the relevant CDA formation before starting any construction work.
