ISLAMABAD (Big Digit) Pakistani Martial Arts Team Returned Home from Uzbekistan After Winning 3 Gold Medals in the International Commonwealth Karate Tournament, Navoi, Uzbekistan,
The players were given a grand welcome at Islamabad International Airport, garlanded and slogans of Pakistan Zindabad were raised.
It should be noted that in the Commonwealth Tournament, the players of Rajaz Martial Arts Bahria Town Islamabad, Martial Arts Queen Miss Laiba Rabnawaz Janjua, Miss Aisha Iram and Abdullah won gold medals. It is worth mentioning that Senpai Isha Iram and Senpai Laiba Rab Nawaz Janjua are the second female players in the history of Karate Pakistan to win a gold medal in an international tournament.
In different categories, Pakistan’s Senpai Laiba Rab Nawaz Janjua (one gold medal and one silver medal), Senpai Isha Iram (gold medal), Abdullah (gold medal) and Sensei Hassan Ali have won two silver medals. Raja Martial Arts, Karate Pakistan has won three gold medals in an international tournament for the first time in its history. President Karate Pakistan Shehan Raja Khalid Mahmood Janjua appreciated the high performance of the Pakistani team and expressed hope for more successes in the future.
It should be noted that the team achieved success according to the vision of Sheehan Raja Khalid. Sheehan Raja Khalid Mahmood, Sixth Dan Black Belt (Japan/USA), Hall of Fame US, has provided world-class coaching and facilities to the players, which resulted in three gold medals.
