Islamabad (By Saqib Khan Khattar) (Big Digit)— Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi, Babar Sarfaraz Alpa, took an extraordinary step to address public grievances directly by holding an open kutchehry at TMA Jinnah Hall in Fateh Jang. A large number of citizens attended the session, presenting their complaints and concerns directly before the senior police officer.

RPO Alpa not only listened to each grievance attentively but also issued immediate on-the-spot instructions to the relevant officials, assuring the public that the rule of law and dispensation of justice would not be compromised under any circumstances.

The session was attended by District Police Officer (DPO) Attock, DSP Fateh Jang Aslam Dogar, and all SHOs of Fateh Jang Circle. Addressing the officers, the RPO emphasized that negligence in resolving public complaints would not be tolerated. “Police stations must function as gateways to justice, not symbols of fear. Every citizen deserves timely relief,” he stressed.

Upon their arrival at the TMA offices, RPO Babar Sarfaraz Alpa and DPO Attock Sardar Moarhan Khan were warmly welcomed by Fateh Jang Tehsildar Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood. The occasion reflected a unique blend of institutional decorum and public trust, setting the tone for an effective engagement between authorities and citizens.

Speaking to the citizens, RPO Alpa reiterated that the police force is fully committed to eliminating crime, maintaining law and order, and protecting the lives and property of the people. He affirmed that operations against land grabbers, criminal elements, and groups undermining social order would continue without fear or favour. “The law is equal for all,” he declared firmly.

He added that reforms are underway to strengthen the image of the police as a service-oriented institution. “Every citizen must feel assured that their voice is heard directly at the highest levels of the police command,” he said, stressing that no external pressure or recommendation would be allowed to obstruct the path of justice.
